What is White Oak Wood?

White oak is a popular hardwood that includes about 500 varieties of beech trees. According to white oak wood suppliers in India, it offers a superb blend of strength, hardness, and weather resistance. Oak is frequently used for interior trim, furniture, and cabinets, symbolizing tenacity and strength and earning high admiration.

White oak is abundant in both Europe and the eastern United States. Compared to American oak, European oak typically features a straighter, more subdued grain pattern with fewer pip and burr flecks. The heartwood ranges from light to dark brown, while the sapwood is a lighter shade. Most white oak is straight-grained with a medium-to-coarse texture. It is a dense, heavy, hard wood with low stiffness but excellent steam-bending properties. It also has medium bending strength and crushing strength, along with exceptional wear resistance.

Purchase high-quality white oak from Planet Expo, one of the best suppliers in India.
